Two outstanding students from Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) have achieved global academic recognition by earning the prestigious Top in the World award in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations.

As shared in a recent post by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Ahmad Soleh Muhaimi Saifuddin from MRSM Kuantan, Pahang, scored full marks in both English and Mathematics, while Muhammad Amiruz Zafeer Azlan Shah from MRSM Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor, achieved a perfect score in English.

The Top in the World award is presented by Cambridge International Examinations to students who achieve the highest marks globally in specific subjects, making this a truly prestigious honour.

Beyond academics, both students are known for their active roles in school leadership and co-curricular activities.

Ahmad Soleh, who serves as the Academic and Innovation Exco in his school’s student council, has represented MRSM in various national and international events, including the Young Leader Apprentice (Y.A.L.E) programme. Known for his curiosity and drive, his motto “Always thirsty for exploration” reflects his goal of becoming a biomedical engineer in the future.

Meanwhile, Amiruz Zafeer stands out for his sporting achievements, having led his school’s team to win the Under-17 Volleyball Championship. He’s also taken part in several national-level academic events, including the National Science Challenge.

Congratulations to these two remarkable students for putting Malaysia on the map with their achievements. Their success is not only a proud moment for MRSM, but also an inspiration for young learners across the country. We wish them continued success in all their future endeavours!
