What led to the alleged assault

Following the incident, the teen had lodged a report at Kajang police station, alleging he was hit on the head, face, and body. He suffered injuries to his left thumb and cheek after falling.

He said the driver drove past the designated location after arriving at the destination and refused to return back.

When he asked the driver to reverse as there were many stray dogs at the spot where he stopped, the driver ordered him to get out of the car immediately.

“When I got out and closed the door, it shut loudly. The driver came out and hit me on the head, face and body,” the boy said.
