Malaysians’ support for the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) humanitarian initiative has surged with 20,000 new registrations following the completion of the team’s latest mission.
Cinta Gaza Malaysia (CGM) Chief Executive Officer, Nadir Al-Nuri, said the figure marks a sharp increase compared to the 600 Malaysians who had previously registered before the GSF mission began.
“Six hundred Malaysians signed up to join GSF through its website before the mission.
“But after the mission ended, another 20,000 have registered. Break the silence, Malaysia: accomplished,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.

Earlier, on October 2, the Israeli regime intercepted all 42 humanitarian vessels of the GSF mission to Gaza and detained 495 activists, including 23 Malaysians, who were later released in stages beginning October 4.
