Need a last-minute snack, groceries, or household essentials? Starting this August, you can also pick up a home appliance during your 99 Speedmart run.
99 Speedmart has teamed up with home appliance brand Midea to bring a range of small household appliances to its stores across Malaysia.
Home appliances now available at 99 Speedmart
Under the partnership, selected Midea products will be available at more than 3,100 99 Speedmart outlets nationwide, making it easier for Malaysians to shop for everyday appliances closer to home.
Customers can expect to find products such as:
- Blenders
- Electric kettles
- Rice cookers
- Table fans and stand fans
- Desktop circulation fans
- Bread toasters
- Toaster ovens
- Stick vacuums
- Stainless steel gas stoves
Bringing appliances closer to Malaysians
Midea Malaysia managing director Mark Tam said the collaboration will help the company expand its reach by leveraging one of Malaysia’s largest retail chains.
He said the partnership complements Midea’s existing brand stores and authorised dealers while giving customers more convenient locations to browse and purchase its latest home appliances.
99 Speedmart expands beyond groceries
Meanwhile, 99 Speedmart founder and CEO Lee Thiam Wah said the collaboration marks another milestone as the convenience store chain continues expanding beyond its traditional grocery business.
He added that the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to meeting Malaysians’ everyday needs by making quality home appliances more accessible through its extensive nationwide network.
