A cleaning aunty has touched the hearts of her colleagues by going beyond her job to become someone they see as a mother or grandmother figure.

In a heartfelt social media post, MY FM radio host Joe shared how fortunate they felt to have someone like her in the company. Although her official role is to keep the workplace clean, she has become much more than that to the people around her.
She often prepares delicious breakfasts for her colleagues, showing her care through small but meaningful gestures. Joe jokingly added that he haven’t try her much-talked-about curry mee, despite hearing so much about it.
More than just a cleaner
The post reflected on how the most meaningful relationships are not defined by job titles or formal connections, but by the sincerity and kindness people show one another over time.

Because the cleaning aunty has always treated everyone with genuine care, her colleagues have grown equally fond of her. To them, she is not simply the person responsible for cleaning the office, but someone who has brought warmth and comfort into their daily lives.
Joe also wished her good health, peace and a carefree life ahead, hoping she would have more time to enjoy herself. However, there was one playful request at the end of the post: they hoped she would still return to the office to cook more delicious food for everyone.
The heartwarming story serves as a reminder that a person’s job title does not define their impact on others. Sometimes, it is the everyday acts of kindness that make someone truly irreplaceable.
