Not all heroes wear capes. Some carry power tools.

An ordinary ride turned extraordinary for a food delivery rider when he came to the rescue of a helpless e-hailing driver stranded on a highway, armed with a complete tyre-changing toolkit.

‘Abang rider’ took out professional-grade gear from his motorcycle, the driver couldn’t stop laughing in amusement

The incident was posted on TikTok by user @haswienashhi, also known as Haswien Ash.

Haswien recalled riding along the highway when he noticed a car pulled over, visibly struggling with a burst tyre. Without a second thought, he stopped his motorcycle to lend a hand.

To the driver’s surprise and amid his laughter of disbelief, Haswien took out his professional-grade gear, including a cordless electric wrench, neatly stored on his bike.

Haswien helped the driver change his damaged tyre on the highway

In just moments, Haswien and the driver changed the damaged tyre and got the car ready to roll. The e-hailing driver couldn’t stop laughing, as he never expected a food delivery rider to be so well-equipped.

“This is also one of the reasons I keep all my tools ready on my motorcycle. Besides changing a belt during emergencies, they can also help those who need assistance,” Haswien said, “Even though I couldn’t help much, at least I could speed up this brother’s process of changing the tyre.”

The e-hailing driver quickly slipped the money to Haswien before he could refuse

Before leaving, the driver insisted on giving him a RM10 note as a token of appreciation, despite Haswien’s polite refusal.

“I helped sincerely, but this brother still wanted to give me a donation. May Allah reward him many times over for what he has given,” said Haswien in his video.
