Guided by this year’s festive concept, “Golden Horse Embraces a Golden Start” (金马迎喜), Oversea
Restaurant invites families and friends to embrace the spirit of renewal and auspicious beginnings.
Just as the Golden Horse symbolises courage, vitality, and a triumphant leap into the future, the
season’s offerings reflect a heartfelt wish for a year filled with promise, good fortune, and flourishing
opportunities.

In this spirit, guests are invited to embark on a flavoursome journey through the generations, where
treasured Cantonese recipes lovingly preserved since the 1970s once again take centre stage. Each

The comforting nostalgia of a traditional reunion dinner comes to life in the Hong Kong–Style Waxed Meat Claypot Rice, a timeless favourite inspired by the rich, soulful flavours of classic Hong Kong cuisine. Fragrant jasmine rice is cooked over direct heat in a claypot until the base develops a perfectly crisp, golden crust – that irresistible crispy rice base everyone loves.

A generous medley of premium waxed meats is then layered on top, releasing their aromatic oils into
the rice, before the dish is finished with a drizzle of savoury soy sauce that ties every flavour together
