Luxury bus operator Aeroline has announced that all scheduled services will be temporarily suspended from November 6 to December 5, 2025, following a directive from the Malaysian Land Public Transport Agency (APAD).

In a statement issued on November 1, the company explained that the suspension stems from its decision to continue operating from its current service points rather than moving operations to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) as instructed by the authorities.

“We regret to inform our passengers that we have received an official directive from APAD to temporarily suspend all scheduled trips,” the statement read.

“This decision is related to our ongoing use of our service locations at Corus KLCC, 1 Utama, and Sunway Pyramid, instead of relocating to TBS as directed.”

Customers who have booked trips with the coach operator during the suspension period may apply for a full refund or keep their ticket for a future travel date.

APAD claims Aeroline was operating from unauthorised locations

The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has ordered Aeroline to suspend operations from November 6 to December 5, 2025, for repeatedly operating from unauthorised locations instead of an approved terminal, as reported by Malay Mail.

APAD said Aeroline received three show-cause letters between March and October for the same offence and admitted fault. Investigations found the company’s buses were operating outside approved terminals on February 3, May 21, and October 10.

The suspension, imposed under Section 27 of the Land Public Transport Act, cited violations of Clauses 16 and 19 – requiring parking only at approved sites and prohibiting passenger pick-up or drop-off in unapproved areas.

Despite multiple warnings, Aeroline failed to comply. APAD said the suspension aims to ensure passenger safety, reduce congestion, and support orderly urban transport.

Aeroline previously faced suspensions in April–May and July–August for similar offences.

Aeroline customers defend the coach operator

Several netizens have defended Aeroline, citing that TBS does not have good facilities and that they prefer the pick-up locations offered by the coach operator.

One netizen pointed out that TBS is not well-maintained, is not pedestrian friendly, nor elder and disabled-friendly. On top of that, TBS is far from the city and there is no connectivity past midnight.

Several netizens prefer 1Utama pick-up location provided by Aeroline as it is much more convenient to get to compared to TBS.

One other netizen pointed out TBS lacks in safety measures and is a hotspot for mugging.

Some users have suggested Aeroline should maintain their current pick-up locations and add on TBS as another pick-up to abide to APAD’s requirements.
