The suspect has documented history of mental health concerns and has received counselling through school and clinical programs. Classmates describes him as reclusive, quiet, and without close friends, often avoiding interaction.

On the day of incident, he asked for permission to head to the washroom and never returned. Not long after, students reported hearing him shout “I killed someone”, while some witnessed him wandering around with his clothes covered in blood.

Another student then revealed that he attempted to enter his elder brother’s classroom, causing his brother to faint, and the teacher quickly locked the classroom door, after seeing his blood-stained shirt. Police are coordinating with his mental health providers to assess his current condition as part of the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile, police confirmed that the suspect tested negative drugs and had no disciplinary issues at school, nor any additional counselling requirements.
