Police are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at a house in Kampung Baru Selat Pagar, Lenggong, Perak, which left an elderly woman injured and traumatised.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 5.20am on July 21, when the suspect allegedly broke into the house and assaulted the victim, kicking her twice during the robbery.
The victim’s family said the attack caused physical injuries and severe emotional distress to the elderly woman.
CCTV captures suspect’s vehicle
According to the family, home surveillance footage captured the vehicle believed to have been used by the suspect.

A police report has been lodged, and authorities are currently investigating the case.
Public urged to share information
Members of the public who were in the Lenggong area around the time of the incident, or anyone whose CCTV or dashcam may have recorded the vehicle’s movements, are urged to contact the police to assist with investigations.
The family also reminded the public, especially those with elderly relatives living alone, to remain vigilant, ensure doors and windows are properly secured, and be cautious of suspicious individuals or vehicles.
They hope the suspect can be identified and brought to justice quickly to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
