A family is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly woman who wandered off from her care centre in Petaling Jaya.
According to her family, Helen may respond to either name, “Helen” or “Lay Choo”. At the time she went missing, she was wearing the top shown in the attached photo.
Helen was last seen at approximately 5pm on Thursday, 2 April 2026. She had left the care centre located at Lorong 11/4E, PJ, together with another resident. While the second woman was later safely found near Pantai Hospital Bangsar, Helen remains missing.

The search efforts have since expanded across multiple areas, including Petaling Jaya, Pantai, Bangsar, and Bangsar South. A police report has been lodged, and volunteers and members of the public have stepped forward to assist in the search. Despite these efforts, she has yet to be found.
Her family continues to hold onto hope and is doing everything possible to bring her home safely.
Members of the public are urged to stay alert and report any sightings or information that may help in locating her.
