No More Hours in Traffic

Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT Corp) recently shared that the RTS Link will help people cross the border much faster. In a Facebook post, they asked,

“Ever wondered how quickly you’ll be crossing the border with the new RTS Link?” The answer: just six minutes.

What to expect from the RTS Link

  • The train will operate between Bukit Chagar (JB) and Woodlands North (Singapore)
  • It will run daily from 6am to midnight
  • During peak hours, a train will arrive every 3.6 minutes
  • The system can carry 10,000 passengers per hour in each direction

For many Malaysians who cross the border every day for work or school, this could make life much easier. Instead of spending hours in traffic, they can get home faster and spend more time with their families.

Easier Access for Everyone

To make it even more convenient, the Bukit Chagar station will have 1,550 car parking spots and 1,000 motorcycle lots. This makes it easy for people to park and ride the train.

Set to be ready by 2027, the RTS Link will be a big help for thousands of daily commuters. It’s not just a train — it’s a way to save time, reduce stress, and improve everyday life for people who travel between JB and Singapore.
