Owner’s thoughtful response

Moved by the students’ dedication, Intan expressed her desire to improve their study experience.

“When I saw the children studying here, I felt I should get them some comfortable chairs. It really made me realise how useful this laundromat has become for them,” she shared.

Intan believed that the students were preparing for the SPM examinations, which are scheduled to begin next week. She hopes that her small gesture can benefit the surrounding community.

Positive reactions from the community

The heartwarming story has drawn attention online, with many expressing their admiration and support for the initiative.

“It’s really good to have something like this. If there are women doing laundry alone, they won’t feel afraid, and there are kids sitting there studying.”

“A sign of blessed fortune. You also earn merit because the children are benefiting from the space to learn. Hope they achieve excellent results.”

“It’s great that you didn’t get upset or angry watching the CCTV footage. InshaAllah, there’s reward for you as well, even unknowingly—after all, not everyone would just let others use their space like that.”

Through her thoughtful initiative, Intan has not only offered a practical solution for students but also highlighted the potential of everyday spaces to serve the wider community in unexpected ways.
