In a now viral video posted on Threads, a motorcyclist can be seen making an emergency U-turn in obvious panic as he gets closer to what looks to be Road Transport Department (JPJ) road block. His nervous body language and hasty illegal U-turn quickly caught the attention of netizens.
Raya goodies distribution turns into an unexpected viral moment
The motorcyclist made a U-turn against traffic and ended up losing control of his motorbike, stumbling multiple times, with the JPJ officer witnessing all of it.
This frantic escape had attracted police to walk towards him and watch his further actions.
Netizens engaged in various viewpoints, which some laughing at the situation and many of whom assumed the worst.
That must be no license, dead roads, dead license, stolen motorbike or there are some ‘items’…
He doesn’t want to take the goodie bag. He knows others are in need.
But instead of inspections or fines, what awaited him was something entirely unexpected.
Actually, the ‘road block’ was part of a festive initiative, where officers were distributing Hari Raya goodies to road users.
