Tragedy strikes from afar

The worker, who had been in Malaysia to provide for his family, was left heartbroken after learning that his four-year-old child had died in a drowning accident. Already struggling emotionally, he explained that he had no remaining savings to make an urgent trip home.

“I don’t have any money left. I have already sent everything to my family,” he said.

The news underscored the difficult reality faced by many foreigner workers, who often endure personal hardship while being separated from their families.

Support offered without hesitation

Upon understanding his situation, the employer stepped in immediately to arrange and sponsor his flight back to Bangladesh, allowing him to return home to grieve with his family.

“I can’t put this feeling into words. I immediately bought him a ticket back to Bangladesh. May Allah ease our affairs when we ease others’ burdens,” she described.
