From a video shared on social media, a Malaysian woman heard a faint “meow” coming from somewhere within her car, turning her routine morning journey to work into an unexpected rescue operation.
A mystery sound during the morning commute

The driver was on her way to work when she heard a faint sound that sounded like a cat, according to the video that was posted on social media. She tried to pay close attention while driving, initially not knowing where it originated from.
The faint sound persisted, raising her concern that there might be something trapped inside the car.
Stopping the car to search for the sound
The driver noticed there are police officers positioned at the road side as they continued their route. Seeing an opportunity to get help, the driver pulled over and asked for assistance.
The police responded promptly and began checking the vehicle to identify where the unusual sound was coming from.

Tiny passenger found inside car engine
Once the police opened the car hood and checked inside, they finally found out where the sound was coming from. The noise was being made by a tiny orange-colored kitten inside the engine area.
It is believed that the kitten had crawled into the engine area seeking warmth without being noticed by anyone before the trip.

One of the police managed to remove the kitten from the tight space inside the car engine successfully.
A heartwarming rescue
Despite being scared, the kitten seemed not to be injured after being saved, and was carefully held in hands by the police officer.

Since then, the video has gained popularity online, many viewers praising the driver’s quick thinking and the kindness of the police officers in saving the kitten.
