A retired estate supervisor from Melaka is now officially part of Malaysia’s multi-millionaire club after striking it big in the Toto 4D Jackpot 1. The 61-year-old bachelor walked away with a massive RM20.17 million from the November 23 draw, all from a simple RM2 bet.

Jackpot win inspired by his love for sports cars
His winning numbers came from an unexpected spark of inspiration. While shopping at a mall, he noticed two striking blue sports cars parked side by side. The car plates caught his eye, so he decided to try his luck by betting on them. That random decision turned into the luckiest one of his life.
“I’ve been playing Toto for almost 30 years, always hoping for a big win. But never this big,” he said, admitting that he couldn’t sleep for several nights after realising he had actually won.

Despite the life-changing windfall, he’s keeping a cool head. Instead of rushing into luxury spending, he plans to invest his winnings wisely to secure long-term financial stability. He collected his prize at STM Lottery Sdn Bhd’s headquarters, with a friend by his side for support.
On the same note, the same draw also brought luck to a Sarawak punter using the iSystem method, who won RM146,688.95 from the jackpot pool. Looks like Malaysians are still keeping the Toto 4D dream very much alive!
