Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that the major infrastructure project connecting Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya to Johan Setia in Klang will be fully completed and handed over to Prasarana by 31 July. Spanning 37.8 kilometers, the new line is expected to improve daily commutes for thousands and help reduce traffic congestion, according to The Edge.
Before the public gets to ride two trial runs without passengers will take place from July through August. These tests are all about safety and will be carried out by Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd with the support of the main contractor to make sure everything is running perfectly ahead of the launch.

Stronger connectivity with key transport systems including the Kelana Jaya LRT, MRT Bandar Utama, BRT Federal Line and KTM Komuter Port Klang Line.
According to Citizens Journal, the line will have a daily capacity of up to 74,000 passengers and is expected to benefit around 500,000 residents across the Klang Valley.
The line also features major upgrades like real-time passenger information displays, CCTV systems, fire safety setups, automated fare collection and eco-conscious station designs with noise control and natural ventilation.
This journey started back in 2016 but budget challenges meant a few bumps along the way Initially set at RM9 billion the project had to shelf five stations and cancel one in 2018 due to cost issues.
