A 55-year-old e-hailing driver from Sarawak has become an overnight multi-millionaire after winning a jaw-dropping RM19 million in the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 from last Saturday’s (July 26) draw.

His winning numbers? They weren’t picked at random. The man revealed that his winning numbers were 6570 and 7068.

“These numbers hold sentimental value to me because they’re my plate numbers for me car and motorbike”, he said.

Overjoyed when he won the jackpot

According to English daily, NST, he shared that he’s been a long-time customer of Sports Toto for many years. That night, after finishing work, he sat in his car and started checking his tickets. To his amazement, one of his numbers matched the second prize. But the real shock came moments later when he realised his other number had snagged the first prize.

“My heart was pounding when I saw the second prize hit. But when I saw the first prize too, I couldn’t believe it. I screamed in my car, I’d actually won the jackpot!” he said adding that he is still overwhelmed when thinking about it.

He had placed a System 3 bet, which not only secured him the massive RM19,018,092.30 jackpot but also earned him an additional RM336 in System Play bonus winnings.

Despite his newfound wealth, the driver says he has no plans to quit his job. He wants to continue driving, and intends to share part of his winnings with his wife, children, and siblings. As for the rest, he plans to invest it wisely to secure his family’s future.
