A kind-hearted woman bought a meal for an elderly man
While dining at a local restaurant, Mya noticed an elderly man seated alone with only a cream bun and a cup of drink in front of him. The sight struck her, and she wanted to help in any way she could.
Mya then spoke to her mother about what she encountered and out of concern that the man might still be hungry she encouraged Mya to buy him a proper meal. Acting on that instinct, she purchased a full set of rice with side dishes for him.

Mya missed her late father after helping the man
Although the gesture lasted only moments, it stirred deep emotions within Mya. Watching the man eat brought back bittersweet memories of her late father, and she found herself wiping away tears mid-meal.
“Right after buying him the meal, I started crying non-stop, sobbing uncontrollably because it reminded me of my dad. I miss my dad so, so much,” she shared in her TikTok post.

The daughter of the elderly man thanked Mya for her kindness towards her father
Among the many responses was a heartfelt message from someone who claimed to be the elderly man’s daughter. She thanked Mya for her kindness and revealed that her father often spends time at that restaurant.
“Hi to the owner of the video. I’m the child of this uncle. Thank you for being kind to my father. May you be blessed with abundant sustenance, and may your late father be placed among the righteous. By the way, he often hangs out there for a drink, the people there already know him well.”
Her story made netizens miss their loved ones
Her video quickly went viral, many netizens related to her story, saying they too felt emotional when reminded of loved ones who had passed away.
