The stunning dome structure that served as the centrepiece of the recent ASEAN Summit has captured the attention and admiration of many. Now, the public will have a rare chance to experience it up close, and take photos where Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stood welcoming world leaders for the 47th ASEAN Summit.
Located at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), right next to KLCC Park, the KLCC Dome will be open to visitors from 30 October to 1 November – for three days only.

The impressive dome, which formed the backdrop of the ASEAN Summit, was widely praised for its sleek design and symbolic representation of Malaysia’s modern identity and hospitality. Its architectural brilliance and immersive lighting effects made it one of the most photographed highlights of the summit.
The dome will be dismantled on 1 November 2025
Members of the public are encouraged to visit and explore the dome before it is dismantled on the night of 1 November. This short exhibition offers a final opportunity to witness up close a structure that has become an emblem of Malaysia’s role as a proud host of regional diplomacy.
The rainforest that unites ASEAN
During the 47th ASEAN Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, a striking 10-metre-high, 20-metre-wide plastic dome served as the first point of arrival for world leaders. Designed with purpose and precision, the installation featured LED panels depicting tropical rainforests, waterfalls, and native flora set against the Petronas Twin Towers, reports Malay Mail.
According to ASEAN 2025 Main Logistics Secretariat Head Raja Saifful Ridzuwan Raja Kamaruddin, the concept reflected elements shared by all ASEAN nations – their connection to rivers, flora, and fauna, symbolising the region’s common heritage and origins of civilisation.
