In a shocking and horrific traffic crash in Klang on Sunday morning (March 29), a Malaysian motorcyclist lost his life after a car hit and threw the motorcyclist into the air.
Rider thrown into air after reckless overtake

A dashcam video of the accident, which has been circulating on social media, shows the horrific moment of the accident at Jalan Raya Barat.
A grey Honda City, traveling at a very high speed and overtaking many cars, swerved to the opposite lane and hit the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was then thrown onto the roof of a Perodua Myvi, before landing lifelessly on the road.
Victim was beloved father working two jobs to support his family
The deceased, identified as Amirul Hafiz Omar (30 years old), described by friends and colleagues as a dedicated family man who worked tirelessly to support his wife and three young children aged 9,7 and 2.
By day, Amirul worked at a warehouse, and by night he earned extra income as a delivery rider. His friend and colleague of 11 years, Illyasa Saipuzzaman shared:
“We just met on Saturday, and everything seemed normal. By Sunday, he was gone.”

Suspect tests positive for alcohol and drugs
The police confirmed that the driver of the Honda City was found to have both alcohol and drugs in his system, and he was remanded to aid in the investigation.
He was subsequently detained to assist in investigations under Section Section 44(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
The incident has once again ignited public outrage and discontent among netizens who demand harsher punishment for those who drive under the influence and cause such senseless loss of lives.
