Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd has announced that the full integration of its Rapid On-Demand ride service will be completed on 15 November 2025, marking the final phase of its system consolidation process.

According to its statement, the move follows the merging of the final few service areas from the Kummute application into the Rapid On-Demand platform. Previously, the on-demand service was operated through three third-party applications.
The unification is aimed at improving the user convenience, ensuring a seamless booking experience, and enhancing operation efficiency.
Enhanced the convenience of passenger
The chief executive officer of Rapid Bus, Muhammad Yazurin Sallij Muhammad Yasin said the integration effort which began in June 2025, has now reached completion.

“With all service zones consolidated into the Rapid On-Demand app, passenger no longer need to switch between different platforms. This will make trip bookings easier, quicker, and more convenient,” he said.
Six routes expanded and improved
To further enhance accessibility within the Klang Valley, six existing service routes have been restructured or expanded, involving a total of 21 vehicles.

The Rapid On-Demand app is available for free download on both Google Play Store and Apple Play Store. The promotional fare of RM1 per ride remains unchanged.
