Emergency protocols activated as police investigate

In a statement, a university spokesman said emergency response protocols were immediately activated and the institution is working closely with authorities.

“The safety of our students, staff and visitors remains our highest priority. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available,” the spokesman said.

Police in Subang Jaya have been contacted for comment, according to Free Malaysia Today (FMT).

The incident comes just a day after Monash University’s Subang Jaya campus was evacuated following an alleged bomb threat. The campus was closed for several hours while police conducted a sweep before it was declared safe to reopen.
