Malaysian convenience store chain 99 Speedmart has officially entered the Chinese market, marking a major milestone in its international expansion journey.

First outlet in Fuzhou, China
The company’s first outlet opened on August 31, 2025, in Zhaixianyuan, Fuzhou (福州), symbolizing both a historic achievement and the beginning of a new chapter for the brand.
With its well-known motto “Dekat lagi Murah” (“Nearerand Cheaper”), 99 Speedmart has long been recognized in Malaysia for providing affordable daily essentials to local communities. Now, the brand aims to replicate the same success in China by offering consumers a wide range of quality household products at competitive prices.
“This move is part of our ongoing commitment to expanding our mini-market network and providing consumers with quality daily necessities at affordable prices,” 99 Speedmart said.
