Her car had been left resting on bricks, with the thieves apparently making off with the wheels while she was away.

“I paid for parking, but there was no security”

The victim took to Threads (@nanijismani) to share her frustration, saying she arrived at the station at around 7.15pm to drive home when she discovered the theft.

“I paid the parking fee, but there was completely no one watching over the place. If you plan to park here, please be extra careful,” she wrote.

Netizens urge her to check CCTV

The incident quickly gained attention online, with netizens urging her to lodge a police report and ask the LRT3 parking operator to review CCTV footage to identify the suspects.

Some also pointed out that thieves may disguise themselves as car owners changing tyres, making it easier to carry out the theft without attracting attention.

The incident has also reignited discussions over the common “Park at your own risk” notices found at paid parking facilities, with some netizens arguing that paying customers should still expect reasonable security measures from parking operators.
