Get ready, party people, the world’s biggest EDM festival, Tomorrowland, is officially landing in Chonburi, Thailand, in December 2026, marking its first-ever event in Asia.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) confirmed the news, sharing that Tomorrowland will invest billions of baht into the event, with Chonburi chosen for its spacious, accessible seaside location and strong infrastructure. The province is well-connected, sitting close to U-Tapao International Airport, and is easily reachable from both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports, making it convenient for international festival-goers.

The EDM festival’s debut in Thailand isn’t just about a concert as it also include plans on setting up a Tomorrowland Academy to help Thai event organisers upskill in managing world-class music and entertainment events. The festival is also expected to bring hundreds of thousands of ravers from around the globe, giving a huge boost to Thailand’s tourism industry while benefiting local businesses and communities.

In its first year, Tomorrowland Thailand will run as a 2-3 day mega festival, offering exclusive packages, pre- and post-festival tours, and hotel bundles, mirroring the successful model in Belgium. This move is part of a long-term commitment, with Thailand expecting at least a five-year partnership, averaging around US$10 million in investment per year.
