He was brought before the Johor Bahru Magistrates Court, where the charge was presented through an interpreter before he entered a guilty plea.

The offense took place on Nov 12 at about 5.22p.m. along Jalan Pulai 62, where the man was accused of raising his middle finger at another motorist with the intention of provoking a confrontation.

The act falls under Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955, which covers behaviour considered indecent and carries a maximum fine of RM100. The prosecution was led by Deputy Public Prosecutor Nur Diyana, while the accused was unpresented.

Following the guilty plea, the court imposed a RM100 fine, with a two-day jail term to be served if the payment is not made. The case was concluded swiftly after the sentence was delivered.
