A 31-year-old man who tragically passed away from a heart attack has become a silent hero after his organs were donated to save three lives in need.
A sudden loss, but a powerful legacy that gave others a second chance at life

According to a Facebook post shared by Ahmad Nazrul, the late Syukri Bazli (31 year-old) underwent an organ and tissue retrieval procedure at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) in Kuala Terengganu.
The deceased was confirmed “brain dead” after suffering a heart attack. He leaves behind a wife and 3 children, with one of the children being differently abled.
According to his uncle, Azlan Yahya, the organ donation decision was made by his parents and wife. Seeing that he was he was young and there was an opportunity to save the lives of others, they took it with little to no hesitation.

Three lives saved after passing, many more to come
Syukri was able to donate his liver, kidneys, bones and skin, which helped save 3 patients who were in need. One of his kidneys was sent to Selayang Hospital, while the other was delivered to University of Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM). His heart was transferred to Tuanku Azizah Hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
In a carefully coordinated effort, Syukri’s organs were transported via helicopter to ensure they reached recipients in time. His heart will give a child a new chance at survival, while his kidneys will free two diabetes patients from lifelong dialysis treatment.
His bones and skin will be used in critical medical treatments such as bone grafts for accident victims, cancer patients, and those with spinal conditions, as well as reconstructive procedures for patients with severe injuries.

After the organ is extracted, a replacement (temporary prosthetic) will be performed by the hospital to maintain the original physical shape of the corpse.
The prayer for the dead took place after Isyak prayer in Tok Dor Mosque before the burial process in Kampung Peroh Islamic Cemetery, Ajil.
The late man was a volunteer with Pertubuhan Amal Komuniti Besut under JNZA Gaung Global, Kuala Berang branch, and he personally carried out the bathing and shrouding process at the mortuary management room of Ladang Mosque.
